A Nyctimystes gramineus a kétéltűek (Amphibia) osztályának békák (Anura) rendjébe, a Pelodryadinae családba, azon belül a Pelodryadinae alcsaládba tartozó faj.
Előfordulása
A faj Pápua Új-Guinea endemikus faja. Természetes élőhelye a szubtrópusi vagy trópusi nedves hegyvidéki erdők. A fajt élőhelyének elvesztése fenyegeti.
