Muse Records era una compañía discográfica y un sello discográfico de jazz fundado en la ciudad de Nueva York por Joe Fields en 1972.
Trabajó como ejecutivo para Prestige Records en la década de 1960. Varios de los álbumes fueron lanzados anteriormente en Cobblestone Records. Muse también tuvo otro sello, Onyx Records, que funcionó hasta 1978, cuando Fields y su colaborador Don Schlitten terminaron su relación profesional.
A finales de la década de 1970, Muse se asoció con la holandesa Timeless Records para distribuir Timeless Muse.
Muse se vendió en 1996 a 32 Jazz, que reempaquetaron y reeditaron una gran cantidad de grabaciones de Muse. En 2003, Savoy Jazz (que se había convertido en filial de Nippon Columbia) adquirió los derechos del catálogo de Muse (junto con el de Landmark) de 32 Jazz.
Posteriormente, Fields fundó HighNote Records y Savant Records; Muchos artistas de Muse también grabaron posteriormente para estos sellos.
