Mari Källersjö ye una naturalista y taxónoma sueca. Trabayó viviegamente nel Sistema de clasificación APG III.. 2002. Phylogenetics of asterids based on 3 coding and 3 non-coding chloroplast DNA markers and the utility of non-coding DNA at higher taxonomic levels.
En 1990, llogró'l so doctoráu na Universidá de Gotemburgu, defendiendo la tesis: Morphology, taxonomy and cladistics of Southern African Asteraceae (Anthemideae).Editor Stockholms universitet, 138 pp. ISBN 91-7146-792-0 Dempués de llograr el so doctoráu, pasó dos años n'EE.XX., trabayando en metodoloxíes moleculares nel Institutu Smithsonian, ente otros llugares. En 1992 tornó a Suecia, pa empecipiar un Llaboratoriu d'ADN nel Muséu Suecu d'Historia Natural n'Estocolmu. Ente 2006 a 2008, foi direutora del departamentu d'investigación d'esi Muséu. Dende ochobre de 2008 ye direutora del Xardín Botánicu de Gotemburgu. Foi nomada Profesora Visitante nel Departamentu de Ciencies de Plantes y Ambiente en payares de 2009.
